Eichrom’s Pre-filter Resin is an uncoated, inert polymeric support and can be used to remove trace amounts of organic compounds from aqueous solutions. This non-specific sorption can be used to eliminate colored organic compounds which can cause quench in liquid scintillation counting and to scavenge extractant leached from EXC resins in applications where trace organic materials are undesireable.
Pre-filter Resin is available in two particle sizes (100-150 µm and 150-200 µm). The 100-150 µm is sold in bottles or ready to use in pre-packaged columns (slurry-packed for gravity flow) and the 150-200 µm is sold cartridges (dry packed for use with the Eichrom vacuum box system.)
